About 9 kilometres southeast of the provincial capital is the site of
the former temple of Prey Basac. The temple is since long
destroyed by war, but the site still attracts local people and foreign
visitors because traditional Khmer style and the lush surrounding
forests. A resort is planned to be constructed on this location. |
