In this section of the web site, we will try to give you a view on Phnom Penh by people who know the city. We hope to discuss life and events in Cambodia through contributions that can be opiniated but must not necessarily reflect everyone's opinion. 

David Finch tries to define the charm which he discovers in Phnom Penh. David Finch is the owner of Cafe Sontheipheap and long-time resident. When his Cambodian wife was killed by the shrapnel of a grenade used to settle a dispute in a nearby karaoke, he became an activist for a weapons free Cambodia. Sontheipheap is Khmer for Peace.
