Cambodians like to go pick-nicking on their holidays. Visits to
Historical sites or special locations go usually accompanied by a
pick-nick. They find a local inhabitant who rents out some mats, mostly on
a Cambodian table, often covered against the sun.

Penh. Most of these places are attract great crowds, almost all of them
Cambodians. |
Take your own lunch and do like the Cambodians. Leave early morning,
reserve your lunch table before starting the visit. Around 11 am, people
will return to their tables.
After the lunch, don't hurry. You leave when the worst heat of the noon
is over
