Senate Secretariat Um Sarith and Representative of Konrad Adenauer to Cambodia Wolfgang Meyer on Jan. 23 signed the cooperation agreement for 2008 between the two bodies.

It is a new page of cooperation between the Senate and Konrad Adenauer Foundation, which has been established since 1999, said H.E Um Sarith, adding that during the past years, especially in 2007,

the cooperation with Konrad contributed significantly to the capacity building of Senate members and staff as well as to the reform of Cambodian public administration.

Mr. Worlfgang Meyer appreciated the smooth cooperation process between the two bodies. “Konrad will continue helping the Senate for better human resource development,” he said. --AKP
